| Tur wins Valencia tournament |
Francesc Tur beat Alvaro Illobre in the final of a Spanish national wheelchair tournament that took place alongside the ATP event in Valencia at the weekend.
A few days after playing in a wheelchair tennis demonstration during the ITF Worldwide Coaches Conference in Valencia, Tur returned to beat Illobre 64 64 in the final of the tournament, which featured the top eight Spanish players.
The tournament brought to an end a week of wheelchair tennis activities in Valencia at the 2009 ITF Worldwide Coaches Conference, where ITF Wheelchair Tennis Manger Mark Bullock, David Sanz and Ann Quinn all gave presentations on wheelchair tennis.
Israel's Kobi Wiener and Turkey's Dianne Fowler were among other members of the wheelchair tennis family who attended the Conference.
