Incacare World Team Cup 2009, Nottingham
The Invacare World Team Cup celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2009, when Nottingham, Great Britain, hosts the ITF's flagship wheelchair tennis team event for the third time in its history, from Monday, 27 July - Sunday, 2nd August.

Great Britain and the City of Nottingham Tennis Centre become the first nation and the first venue outside of the USA to host the Invacare World Team Cup on three occasions.

Thirty three different nations are set to contest this year's event, with 16 nations competing in each of the Men's World Group 1, Men's World Group 2 and Women's events.

Meanwhile, eight nations will contest both the Quad and Junior events.

Portugal and Turkey have been awarded wildcards for Men's World Group 2, meaning that teams from Portugal and Turkey are set to play in the Invacare World Team Cup for the first time.

Meanwhile, Brazil, South Africa and Spain are also set to contest the Junior event for the first time in Invacare World Team Cup history.

A list of participating nations, by event, can be downloaded by clicking on the link to the PDF file below.

The Tennis Foundation, which is responsible for organising the 2009 Invacare World Team Cup, in association with the ITF and Invacare Europe, has recently announced Jeremy Dier as the Tournament Director.

Further information about the 2009 Invacare World Team Cup will be posted on this page as and when it becomes available.
