2011 Player Choice Award winners Aniek van Koot (NED) and Michael Jeremiasz (FRA)
PLEASE NOTE: The opportunity to email your nominations has been extended to 23.59 GMT on Sunday, 17 March 2013.
The time has come again for you to vote for your favourite Players and Tournament of the Year on the 2012 NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour.
Let us know who, in your view, deserves to receive the Players Choice Awards for 2012 (send us the names of 3 male players and 3 female players).
This award is presented once a year to a female and a male player on the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour, who is acknowledged because of his/her fairplay, sportsmanship, on court/off court behaviour, ability to make international friendships, support to other players and his/her contribution towards the development of wheelchair tennis on a national/international level.
We would also like to know which tournament you think should be given the prestigious title of Tournament of the Year for 2012 (send us the names of 3 tournaments).
This award is presented once a year to a tournament on the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour, which is acknowledged because of the contribution towards the development of wheelchair tennis at national/international level, the quality of organisation (includes all organisational aspects, such as officiating, transportation, hotel etc.), additional events organised during the event to entertain players and coaches and the promotion of the event and wheelchair tennis in general.
Once we have received all of your nominations, these will be counted and a poll will be placed on the ‘NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour’ Facebook page, listing the top three tournaments and players. It will then be down to you to decide who will become the ultimate winner in each category.
Please email your 3 choices for Male and Female Player of the Year and Tournament of the Year 2012 to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Nominations must be received by 23.59 GMT on Sunday, 17 March 2013 and the poll will begin on Monday, 18 March 2013 on the ‘NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour’ Facebook page and run until the end of March..
