Jewitt and Hunt retain Cardiff titles

Alex Jewitt and Louise Hunt retained their men's and women's singles titles on Sunday at the Esporta Cardiff Tournament, part of the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour, in Great Britain'

Top seed Jewitt edged Spanish junior and second seed Daniel Caverzaschi 63 64 in the men's main draw singles final.

Hunt also justified her top seeding to win the women's main draw singles final 61 62 against another junior player, Lauren Jones. Jones was contesting her first women's main draw singles final on the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour.

Jewitt also won the men's doubles title for the second successive year. Partnering fellow Briton Dermot Bailey, who wsa a runner-up in the 2010 doubles final, the duo defeated Edward Holt and Josh Steels 61 60.

Meanwhile, Hunt and Jones paired up to win the women's doubles title. Hunt also followed up victory in the doubles in 2010, but again had a different partner this year as she and Jones beat Debbie Brazier and Hunt's partner last year, Laura Coteman, 61 61.
