Monday, 21 May marks 100 Days To Go until the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games and is also the day that any remaining tickets for the London 2012 Paralympics go back on sale on the London 2012 ticketing website at 11am UK time.

The London 2012 Paralympic Tennis Event takes place on 1-8 September 21 and whilst the London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) has announced that the availability of wheelchair tennis tickets is in the category ‘very low’, some wheelchair tennis tickets are still available on a first come, first served.

Also still available are some Olympic Park Day Passes, which allow the holder access to a selection of sports and venues in Olympic Park during the Paralympic Games, including wheelchair tennis at Eton Manor. Access to wheelchair tennis with an Olympic Park Day Pass in September will be on a first come, first served basis on the day.

The 100 Days To Go landmark also coincides with the first day of the BNP Paribas World Team Cup in Seoul, Korea Republic.

This week's BNP Paribas World Team Cup takes place at the Olympic Park Tennis Centre in Seoul, the venue at which wheelchair tennis began its Paralympic journey as a demonstration sport at the Seoul 1988 Paralympic Games before becoming a full medal sport at the Barcelona 1992 Paralympic Games.

ITF Wheelchair Tennis Officer Ellen de Lange, the Assistant Tehcnical Delegate for the London 2012 Paralympic Tennis Event, was a bronze medallist in the women's singles at the wheelchair tennis demonstration event at the 1988 Seoul Paralympic Games. She was among the players and officials to celebrate the 100 Days To Go landmark at the Olympic Park Tennis Centre, where she played in 1988.
