2010 ITF Ball Approval
The ITF Technical Centre will commence its testing procedure for the ITF Approval of tennis balls for the calendar year 2010 on 1st June 2009. The procedures for obtaining ITF Approval can be downloaded by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.

If your company would like to submit tennis balls for ITF Approval, email the Technical department technical@itftennis.com to obtain application forms. Companies that manufacture introductory tennis balls may also submit balls for ITF Approval in accordance with the specifications published on page 7 of the 2009 ITF Approved Tennis Balls and Classified Court Surfaces Booklet, for which the ITF is able to offer reduced testing fees.

The 2010 ITF Approved Tennis Balls and Classified Court Surfaces booklet will be published in January 2010 and the deadline for balls to be tested and approved for inclusion in this booklet is 30th November 2009. For an up to date list of 2009 Approved tennis balls click here
