The ITF Seniors Circuit consists of over 380 tournaments staged in more than 72 countries on all continents, with almost 25,000 players taking part each year.
Circuit tournaments are classified into Grades A-5, with A being the highest and 5 being the lowest.
The standard of competition is reflected by the number of ranking points available, which is explained in more detail on the Rankings Explained page.
All tournaments offer a variety of age category events in singles, doubles and often mixed doubles. The age categories range from 35-85.
The ITF also organises the World Championships, both for Teams and Individuals, which are classified as Grade WC tournaments.
The World Championships are split into three age categories, Young Seniors (35-45), Seniors (50-60) and Super-Seniors (65-85), and are contested on an annual basis.
