Spring Court Senior Primrose Bordeaux

BORDEAUX, FRANCE: Taking place on the clay courts of Villa Primrose, this Grade 3 event produced some excellent tennis watched by many.

Joining the ITF Seniors Circuit in 2011, this tournament was upgraded in 2012 from Grade 5 to Grade 3 as a result of the quality of participants. 

Over 179 matches took place in 13 different age categories of singles and doubles, as well as consolation events being offered in eight events.

Although there were many players from the home nation, the tournament also attracted players from 13 other countries including South Africa, Brazil, Japan, Australia and the USA.

After all the events were completed, the winners were announced and presented with their prize at an awards ceremony. Tournament director Bruno Renoult and deputy mayor of Bordeaux Alain Dupouy thanked the participants and the title sponsor of Spring Court. The winners were presented with bottles of the best wines of the region.
