MARKHAM, CANADA : American Tennys Sandgren won both singles and doubles titles at the $15K National Bank Mayfair Futures, emulating Peter Polansky who won both titles in 2011.

On Sunday in the singles final he beat top seed, and the defending champion, Peter Polansky of Canada 64 63.

The victory comes two days after Sandgren won the doubles title with fellow American Chase Buchanan. The Americans beat Polansky and his Australian partner Carsten Ball 62 46 [10-7] and this triumph enabled Sandgren to avenge his loss to Polansky in the 2011 doubles final.

For 21-year-old Sandgren, these titles were his fourth ITF Pro Circuit titles of the season in both singles and doubles play.
