MONTREAL, CANADA: 25-year-old Canadian Fed Cup player and 9-time singles champion on the ITF Pro Circuit, Aleksandra Wozniak, continues to show good form in the WTA event in Montreal this week.

A champion on the ITF Pro Circuit as recently as March in Nassau, Bahamas, Wozniak has followed up her impressive close sets defeat of Slovakia's Daniela Hantuchova by taking out another of the games big names in thirteenth seed Jelena Jankovic with the loss of just five games.

Wozniak, looking to claim the title in her city of birth, next faces Christina McHale whose last singles title win, like Wozniak's, came on the ITF Pro Circuit.
