SARAJEVO, BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA: 17-year-old Victoria Kan from Russia claimed a career sixth singles title on the ITF Pro Circuit with victory in three sets.

The eighth seed took the title with a defeat of the tournament's top seed, Dinah Pfizenmaier, having already eliminated another high seeded German, Anne Schaefer, seeded two, earlier at the quarterfinal stage.

Kan had to come from behind in the live televised final having dropped the opening set 64 to earn her fourth singles title of the year. The teenager levelled the match with a 64 win of her own in the second set and, after just over two hours of play, the moment of victory came when her German opponent retired from the match with Kan leading 5-2 in the final set with Pfizenmaier having taken a serious fall whilst trailing 4-2.
