INCHEON, KOREA: Erika Sema extended her head-to-head win-loss record over her elder sister with a straight sets victory in the singles final on Saturday.

24-year-old Erika, seeded two, now holds a 3-1 win-loss record on the ITF Pro Circuit against her sister following her 63 64 win over her top seeded sister Yurika, 26, in what was their first meeting in a final.

Prior to this final in Incheon, Erika and Yurika last played each other in a 2011 WTA Tour qualifying event in Osaka. In total the sisters have now faced each other six times since their first meeting back in 2004 on the ITF Junior Circuit in Brunei. Yurika’s sole success over her younger sister came in the second round of an ITF Pro Circuit tournament held in Komoro, Japan in 2009, a tournament which saw Yurika claim the title.
