Second singles title for Panfil

Situated on the Warta River in west-central Poland, Poznan, the countries fifth largest city, hosted the Poland F6 Futures clay court tournament on the ITF Men's Circuit.

20-year olds, Grzegorz Panfil (POL) and Hans Podlipnik-Castillo (CHI) contested the singles final with both players aiming to win their second career singles title. Panfil, who lost in the first round at this tournament in 2007, came into this tournament ranked 383, his highest career singles ranking, and took the title with a straight sets 63 61 win.

Mateusz Szmigiel (POL) and Mario Trnovsky (SVK) claimed a first doubles title together following their 64 76(4) defeat of Polish pair Maciej Dilaj and Marcin Gawron.

Crowds attending this tournament had their numbers boosted each day when the Berlin-Warsaw trains passed by close to the on court action six times a day!
