JOPLIN, MO, USA : After an absence of one-year due to the after effects of a tornado which forced the cancellation of the 2011 tournament, ITF Pro Circuit action will return to the Joplin area for a men's Futures tournament commencing 16 July.

The popular American player and 2012 Olympian, John Isner, himself a former doubles champion in Joplin, expressed his delight at the tournament's return to the calendar.

Melodee Colbert-Kean, Mayor of Joplin, through an official proclamation, also declared 16-22 July as "Tennis Week" in honour of the tournament's return and during the course of the tournament week a special Community Day will be held on 21 July which will feature 10 and Under Tennis.

If you are able to attend and support this tournament's return, the qualifying event will get underway on 13 July and the action will then continue through to the singles final on 22 July. For those not fortunate enough to be there in person, you can get daily result updates right here on the tournament's ITF Pro Circuit webpage.
