The singles final was contested by two 20-year olds with the title going to the elder of the two players (by 25 days), Spain's Sergio Gutierrez-Ferrol. Gutierrez-Ferrol defeated Joao Sousa from Portugal 16 61 75 to claim his first singles title of 2009 and a second of his career to date.
In the doubles event, the final again saw Gutierrez-Ferrol in action but a second title of the week eluded him as the pairing of Gerard Granollers-Pujol & Marc Fornell-Mestres emerged 63 64 winners. This title for the No. 1 seeds made it two titles from two tournaments played together.
