23-year old Ani Mijacika picked up her first titles on the ITF Pro Circuit since September 2010 with success in the singles and doubles finals at the $10,000 tournament held in Portimao, Portugal. This twin triumph in the large town on the Portuguese south coast was achieved without loss of a single set all week.

This was, however, not the first time that the Croatian had left a tournament with both titles to her name having twice before in her ITF Pro Circuit career achieved this feat. The first came back in October 2005 in Dubrovnik and was then repeated in May 2006 when she took both titles in Zadar, one week after narrowly taking both titles in Mostar. In addition to Mostar, she has also come close to taking both titles on two other occasions; Palic in July 2009 and Sarajevo in September 2010.

The doubles title in Portimao was won with partner Amra Sadikovic in their first tournament together as a pair having been unable to compete last week in what should have been their debut appearance as a team due to bad weather forcing the cancellation of the event in Albufeira.
