INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH, FL, USA: Andrea Collarini claimed his first singles title in 12 months after defeating Corentin Denolly in a hard-fought final at Indian Harbour Beach.

The Florida venue, a regular port of call for women’s players since 2006, welcomed back ITF Pro Circuit men’s tournament action for the first time in four years.

The American-born Argentine, seeded fourth, dropped just one set all week and secured the 11th singles title of his career with a 75 76(6) victory over his eighth-seeded French opponent.

"I want to thank my coach, all the volunteers, the umpires, and the tournament director for making this a great week," said Collarini after his triumph.

In the doubles event, it was the top seeded Indian-Spanish duo of Ramkumar Ramanathan and Jaume Pla Malfeito who claimed the title with a thrilling 11-9 match tiebreak win, having survived a fightback from their unseeded American opponents – Hunter Callahan and Nick Chappell – in the second set.

This tournament was only the third time Pla Malfeito and Ramanathan had teamed up and a first since competing alongside one another in July 2014.

Their 62 67(5) [11-9] victory gave them a first title together since they triumphed back in June 2014 in their very first tournament together.

"The energy from the crowd was amazing," said Ramanathan afterwards. "I have never played in front of this many people during a Futures match.  And my housing hosts even brought me to the courts by boat!"

Pla Malfeito added: "I feel like I have played every Futures' tournament, but this one is the best. The best food, the best player's lounge, and the best fans."

They will be looking to add a further title as they continue the partnership this week in Orlando, which you can follow live scoring for via our official app or on the tournament webpage.
