The $10,000 ITF Pro Circuit tournament held the week commencing March 22nd 2010 in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates saw history made as Fatma Al Nabhani, 18, became the first player from Oman, male or female, to win a singles title on the ITF Pro Circuit.

Al Nabhani came into the tournament as the No. 7 seed and ranked at 670, a new career high.

Having defeated the second and third seeded players in the quarterfinal and semifinal respectively she claimed the title in a straight sets 76(1) 61 win over another seeded opponent, this time the No. 6 seed. This success in the singles final followed on from having won the doubles title the previous day with Portuguese partner Magali De Lattre.

Prior to this tournament, Al Nabhani's previous best in singles action on the ITF Pro Circuit was a semifinal finish in Damascus back in 2008.
