Olympic Tennis Centre
The brand new Olympic and Paralympic Tennis Centre is located centrally just one kilometre north of the Olympic village and two kilometres north of the main Olympic Stadium.

It is situated in the Olympic Green complex which also houses Archery, Athletics, Basketball, Fencing, Football, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Modern Pentathlon and Swimming.





The architectural consultant who helped design the Sydney and Athens stadiums worked with the construction company who built Olympic Tennis Centre.

The Centre Court houses the players' lounge and locker rooms, media centre, tournament control and technology.

There are 16 courts in total, 10 of which will be used for matches, six as practice courts. Aside from Centre Court, there will be two other show courts used, and then a further seven match courts.
