Beach Tennis World Team Championship 2017

The National Tennis Centre in Moscow will host the ITF Beach Tennis World Team Championship for the seventh consecutive year in August, when the eyes of the beach tennis community turn towards Russia.

Following on from impressive displays by their junior teams in 2017 and their own fifth-placed finish at each of the previous two World Team Championships, the Venezuelan pro players will be looking to step up and mount a major a challenge in 2018.

The always dangerous Italians will be among the favourites once again having seen their players triumph in Moscow last year and other past winners, Brazil and more recently hosts Russia, will also have plenty to say about the destination of the title this year.

A twenty-four main draw is set to be held, while a qualifying competition is to take place the days immediately prior.

The Championship will also see the return of the junior competition, first launched in 2015, as the 14 & under event will provide international competition for the younger generation.

If you attend this event we'd love to see your photos which you can share with other beach tennis enthusiasts via our official social media accounts.
