Latvia has been revealed by Tennis Europe as the location for the 2018 European Beach Tennis Championships coming up this Summer.

Staged during early July, the resort city of Jurmala will be succeeding Sozopol in Bulgaria, hosts in both 2016 and 2017, in hosting the first of the four major Championships of the new beach tennis season.

Last year saw 19 nations represented with the Italian winners in both the men's and the women's events going on to end the year as the world number one's.

2018 will see the Championships duration extended to cover a four day period for the first time since 2008 with the action set to commence on 12 July.
