Another exciting season is underway on the ITF Beach Tennis Tour and has already seen its first big prizemoney tournament staged in Italy, a tournament that saw the 2017 co-world number one ranked male players – Luca Cramarossa and Marco Garavini – stunned in round one of the $10,000 Monopoli event.

Further high prizemoney tournaments are coming up over the course of the opening third of 2018, including a $15,000 tournament in Brazil over the last weekend of January. This will also be the first to take place on the South American continent this year and the same weekend’s action will also see the first of 2018’s Central American and Asian tournaments take place.

Brazil will also host a $10,000 tournament the following weekend as we move into February, a month which will see the players making their first appearances of the year in North America and Africa.

As we progress into March, two $15,000+H tournaments will certainly catch the eye of the players. Ecuador will host over the opening weekend of the month and two weeks later Reunion will be welcoming the competitors and fans alike to the Indian Ocean Island.

Looking into April, we already have 14 tournaments scheduled with the standout tournaments being another $15,000+H event, this time on the island of Gran Canaria, and a $15,000+H in Niteroi, Brazil, upgraded from a $10,000 tournament last year.

Presently there are already 59 tournaments published on the online calendar for the opening four months of 2018 but please keep checking back for further additions and, as always, you can share your experiences from tournaments throughout the year on the ITF Beach Tennis Tour by following us on our official social media accounts with Facebook and Twitter.
