Entry for the DUNLOP Beachtennis Open Slovakia is fast approaching and entries need to be made by next Saturday (21 June). This year sees the tournament, to be held 4-6 July, move from Nitra to Cunovo and upgrade from a Grade 4 event to a Grade 3 with €2000 in prize money. The tournament will also form part of a sports and music festival.

Slovakia has produced some top tennis players over the years, including Dominika Cibulkova, Daniela Hantuchova (pictured trying out beach tennis) and Miloslav Mecir and this tournament will provide an excellent opportunity for Slovak players to make a name for themselves in this action packed sport.

The tournament, due to its location for travel, is also hopeful of attracting beach tennis talent from other nations too and the promise of great quality beach tennis remains high.
