The Final of the boys' event saw hosts and fourth seeds El salvador take on third seeds Dominican Republic for a place at the Final Qualifying event in Canada.
Alejandro Quiros (ESA) drew first blood for the hosts with victory over Yeudi Villar (DOM) in a three set thriller lasting just over two hours. Dominican Republic's Nick Hardt went on to level the tie with a win over Javier Flores (ESA) to force the deciding doubles. The pairing of Hardt and Villar was too strong for locals Quiros and Flores, with Dominican Republic clinching the final rubber to take the tie 2-1 and with it a place at the Final Qualifying event in May.
The girls' event was a more one-sided affair with top seeds Guatemala continuing to assert their dominance, this time over fifth seeds El Salvador. It was second time unlucky for the hosts as they went down 0-2 to the top seeds.
Rut Galindo gave the favourites a 1-0 lead with a 60 63 win over Ana Sofia Segura before Karla Cordero went on to seal victory for Guatemala with a 61 63 victory over Gabriela Tevez.
Both Guatemala and Dominican Republic now advance to the Final Qualifying event for North/Central America and Caribbean, to be held in Montreal, Canada on 8-10 May.
