Five London 2012 Paralympic Games medallists, including Britain’s Jordanne Whiley, Lucy Shuker and Andy Lapthorne and 2013 ITF Wheelchair Tennis World Champion Aniek van Koot of the Netherlands are among nine world top 10 ranked singles players set to contest the inaugural USN Bolton Arena Indoor on 19-22 February.
Over 60 players from 13 countries line up for the first ITF 2 Series of the year to be held in Europe as the North West of England hosts its second ITF Wheelchair Tennis Tour event in as many weeks.
World No. 3 Gordon Reid heads three of Britain's top four ranked players in the men's singles, while Sweden's former world No. 2 and London 2012 doubles gold medallist Stefan Olsson returns to action for the first time since last June.
Also returning to action for the first time since winning the US Open in September is van Koot, who ended 2013 world ranked No. 1. The current world No. 4 is the top seed in Bolton after recovering from injury.
There are four world top 10 ranked players in the quad singles, headed by three Brits - world No. 3 Andy Lapthorne, world No. 7 Jamie Burdekin and world No. 8 Antony Cotterill. World No. 9 Antonio Raffaele of Italy and Sweden's former world No. 5 Anders Hard are also among the leading contenders.
