The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) have announced the entries for the Eton Manor Wheelchair Tennis International, a part of the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour and the London Prepares Series, the Test Event for wheelchair tennis ahead of the London 2012 Paralympics, which takes place on 3-6 May in Olympic Park.
The entries include Paralympic gold medallists in each of the men's, women's and quad events.
Sydney 2000 men's doubles gold medallist and Athens 2004 men's singles gold medallist Robin Ammerlaan of the Netherlands is the highest-ranked of the men's entries.
World No. 7 Ammerlaan is joined in the men's field by Britain's top-ranked men's players Gordon Reid, David Phillipson and Marc McCarroll, while Dutch junior Rody de Bie is also among the entries.
Five-time Paralympic gold medallist Esther Vergeer, currently unbeaten in 452 matches, heads the entries for the women's singles.
Two top 10 players are among the women's entries, with world No. 5 Sabine Ellerbrock of Germany and Britain's Jordanne Whiley and Lucy Shuker likely to be Vergeer's strongest challengers.
There are four top 10 ranked players among the entries for the quad events, led by Athens and Beijing Paralympic gold medallist Peter Norfolk.
