IRAN F3 AND F4 FUTURES – CANCELLED

The Iran Tennis Federation and ITF regret to have to inform players that the Iran F3 and F4 Futures tournaments commencing 29 June and 6 July 2009 have been cancelled as a result of the increasingly tense political situation in Iran. Following reports of violent demonstrations in Tehran, the Iran Tennis Federation could no longer guarantee the safety of players and officials at the tournaments.

Players who were accepted into these tournaments will be permitted to sign-in as On-site Alternates at any other ITF Pro Circuit tournament during the same weeks.

Please contact the ITF Pro Circuit department for further information.

For tournaments commencing from January 2009 onwards a revised entry structure will be used for the ITF Men’s Circuit in which unranked players will also be required to enter tournaments in advance.

For full details of these changes for 2009 and how it will affect the players, visit the Circuit Rules & Regs page and download a summary document.
