Day 3 wrap-up Osaka Mayor's Cup
Day 3 at the Osaka Mayor's Cup saw the upset of just a few seeded players as the top six continued to dominate the latter stages of the competition.

The boys' number one seed Yuki Bhambri(IND) continued through with a straight set victory over the number 14 seed grant Ive (RSA). This sets up a quarter final match against the number six seed Hiroyasu Ehara (JPN) who beat Jarryd Chaplin (AUS) 62 75.
The number four seed Marin Draganja (CRO)also won his match in two sets, however was taken to a tie-break in the second by his opponent, 15th seed Alexandros Georgoudas (GER). He will face 11th seed Liang-Chi Huang (TPE)in his quarter-final. Huang upset eighth seed James Duckworth (AUS) in the third round in straight sets, dropping just 3 games.
The biggest upset of the day was by Shuichi Sekiguchi (JPN) who, after losing the fist set, turned the match around to beat seventh seed Nikala Scholtz (RSA) 57 61 62. Sekiguchi is now the only remaining unseeded player in the boy's event. He will face 16th seed Pierre-Hugues Herbert (FRA), who saw off third seed Chend-Peng Hsieh in the third round 46 62 62.
The second seed Hiroki Moyira (JPN) continued with another straight sets victory to reach the quarter-finals, this time knocking out the 13th seed Henri Laaksonen (FIN). His next match will see him play 5th seed Milos Raonic (CAN).

Day 3 of the girls' event saw seven of the top eight seeds pass through to the quarter-finals. First seed Kurumi nara (JPN) defeated 13th seed Ksenia Kirillova (RUS) 62 63 to guarantee her place in the quarter finals against sixth seed Ajla Tomljanovic (CRO).
The only unseeded player to remain in the tournament is Maho Kowase of Japan who had a straight set victory over qualifier Ai Koga (JPN). This sets up a quarter final against Aki Yasamoto (JPN), the number four seed.
The other players to reach the quarter finals are second seed Ana Bogdan (ROU), fifth seed Timea Babos (HUN), third seed Kristina Mladenovic (FRA) and eighth seed Zarina Diyas (KAZ), who all had straight set victories.
