| Severe rain delays disrupt junior Wimbledon |
Not a ball was hit for the second day running at junior Wimbledon, as the British summer weather again kept the players off court.
Great Britain's Marcus Willis did once get on court to face his first round opponent, Hsien-Yin Peng from Chinese Taipei. However, no sooner had the players arrived on court than the heavens opened and they were forced to retire to the locker rooms.
All other matches were first delayed, then one by one dropped from the schedule, as the likelihood of any prolonged period of dry weather became increasingly unlikely. Play was then finally called off at 6.30pm, with rain still falling.
Hopes are high that play will finally get underway on Tuesday.
