| Juniors play the waiting game |
Continuous rain all day at Wimbledon meant that all junior matches were cancelled on Day 1 of the Junior Championships. Aorangi Pavilion, where the junior player lounge is located, was the place to be, with the juniors trying to find ways to pass the time. Playing cards was the most popular choice of activity, while other players played chess, surfed the web or listened to music.
For only the fourth time in history play will take place on the middle Sunday, so the juniors will be hoping for some good weather to kick off the junior tournament.
