Field Set For Fourth Grade A
The fourth junior Grade A event of the year, the Trofeo Bonfiglio Italian Junior Open, kicks off next Monday at the prestigious Tennis Club Milano "Alberto Bonacossa".

In what is a very high quality girls’ draw Michaella Krajicek (NED) will be back to defend the girls’ singles title she claimed last year and Sesil Karatancheva (BUL), who recently made a splash at the WTA event in Indian Wells, will be making only her second apperance on the 2004 ITF Junior Circuit.

The boys’ draw will be led Mischa Zverev and Sebastian Rieschick, from Germany, Zverev currently has a junior ranking of 8 and an ATP ranking of 597, whilst Rieschick is ranked No.3 in the junior rankings. The flamboyant American, Brendan Evans, currently ranked No.4, will be hoping to pick up his first title in over a year.

Italian hopes will be resting on the shoulders of Fabio Fognini and Verdiana Verardi in the boys’ and girls’ draws respectively. Both have performed well of late, Fognini recently picked up the Grade 1 Triangle D’Or trophy in France, and Verardi collected her first ever ITF Junior Circuit title at the Grade 2 event in Prato, Italy at the beginning of May.

Daily reports and photographs from the Italian Junior Open will be available throughout the week on the website.
