The 27th edition of the Yucatan Cup will see a change of surface at the event for the first time in the tournament’s history, since joining the ITF Junior Circuit in 1998.  As Mexico’s only Grade 1 event this highly prestigious event will, for the 15th year, be played on the courts at the Club Campestre de Yucatan, A.C.  The 27th edition of the event will mark the start of the tournament as a clay court competition, with the hard courts having been replaced earlier this year.

The Yucatan Cup will take place in the week of 25th November, joining up with Eddie Herr and the Orange Bowl to form a mini clay court circuit that will bring the ITF Junior Circuit year to a close, after both Eddie Herr and the Orange Bowl made the change to clay back in 2011.
