This week, Costa Rica hosts the 50th Coffee Bowl. Taking place at the Costa Rica Country Club, the 50th edition of the tournament is the first Grade 1 event of 2014.

Roman Safiullin, ranked No. 11, headlines the boys entries. The top Russian in the junior rankings, Safiullin reached the quarterfinals of the singles and the semifinals of the doubles event at the Orange Bowl tournament and will be feeling confident ahead of this week's tournament.

Also in contention are two Brazilian players, Joao Menezes and Orlando Luz, ranked 40 and 60 respectively, who will both be hoping to make an impact.

For the girls, Marie Bouzkova headlines the entries. Bouzkova, from the Czech Republic, also reached the quarterfinals of the Orange Bowl singles event.

Greetje Minne, of Belgium, will be hoping to cause an upset in the girls entries. Minne lost out to the 2013 ITF Junior World Champion Belinda Bencic at The Junior Championships in Wimbledon.
