| Tennis Australia's ITN booklet for clubs |
Tennis Australia has produced an ITN booklet specifically designed to help tennis clubs and centres to implement the ITN at club level.
This booklet helps tennis clubs and centres by suggesting ways the ITN can be integrated into all aspects of tennis at club level.
The Booklet covers all of these topics:
- The Development of the ITF International Tennis Rating System - What is the International Tennis Number (ITN)? - The ITN Description of Standard - What is a rating and how does it differ from a ranking? - How will players initially be rated? - Benefits of using ITN at club level - ITN in Tournaments - Example Tournament Entry Form - ITN in Competitions - ITN in Coaching Programs - ITN for New Members - ITN for Social Players - How do you improve your rating? - The Role of the Member Association - Frequently Asked Questions - Description of Standard (extended version)
“I think the ITN On Court Assessment is a great system to incorporate into your coaching program (if used at the right times) and anyone who doesn’t use it from time to time is missing out.
I’ve had good feedback from clients about it and they continue to want to improve their rating and are very enthusiastic about improving their game both in part and whole.” – Jamie Venerys, Tennis Coach WA.
