Congratulations to Gian Issa on winning the boys' 14s singles at the JITIC, which was held in Santo Domingo from 27th July to 2nd August 2009. Gian defeated Diego Nunez (MEX) 7-5 6-4. For more results please click on the following link: http://www.cotecc.org.sv/

ITF Junior Circuit

Justin Roberts and Gian Issa ended the ITF summer circuit in fine style; Justin won the boys' 14s in singles and doubles in St. Lucia and St. Vincent respectively, which brought his Cotecc ranking to #1, while Gian reached the semi-finals of the boys' 18s singles in St. Lucia after having a successful 14s summer circuit and has now acquired an ITF ranking of 1216.

ITF 13 & under Caribbean Development Championships

Congratulations to Bermuda on winning the ITF 13 & under Caribbean Development Championships. Fourteen nations participated in the highly contested event. Although rain prevented the doubles matches from being completed, Bermuda was able to secure enough points from their singles matches to take home the ITF trophy. ITF/COTECC Regional Training Camp (Cuba)

Six of the best talented players and one coach from the Caribbean have been selected to participate in the ITF/COTECC Regional Training Camp: Justin Roberts, Erin Strachan (BAH), Tyler Smith (BER), Joel Lutchman (SUR), Chassidy King (ANT), Pierre Enel Brimaire (HAI) and coach Christy Chery (HAI). The camp will be held in Havana, Cuba from 11-20 September 2009.
