| Bermuda claims team title in Trinidad |
Bermuda just pipped Trinidad & Tobago to the team title at the ITF 13 & under Caribbean Development Championships, which took place in Trinidad last week. Tyler Smith scored maximum points for Bermuda when she won the girls’ event, defeating Melena Lopez (BAR) 62 62. Bermuda also picked up good points in the boys’ competition after Christopher Rego (BER) finished runner-up to Joel Lutchman (SUR) 63 62. Unfortunately due to two days of incessant rain the doubles competition could not be completed.
