Players selected for Pacific Oceania Junior Championships

Fifty-eight players from five Pacific nations took part in the ITF/OTF West Pacific Regional Championships with the best players being chosen to represent the West Pacific team, who will compete at the Pacific Oceania Junior Championships (POJC) which will be held in August in Fiji.

The ITF/OTF West Pacific Regional Championships, which were held at the ITF/OTF Regional Training Centre in Lautoka on 6-10 May, comprised players from Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and host nation Fiji.

The event featured pool play in each of the under 12, 15 and 18 age categories with a team of 18 players being selected to represent the West Pacific region at the POJC in August, where they will compete against teams from the East and North Pacific regions.
