Training is also an essential part of any tennis players’ programme. The ITF regularly organises short training camps on a regional basis, which enables some of the best players in the region to not only practise together, but also to educate and update coaches from the region in high-level training methods.
Six ITF Junior Training Camps took place in 2007 as follows:
11 – 22 January: North East European Regional Training Camp – Lithuania
25 – 29 January: ITF West Asian Training Camp - Kuwait
16 – 24 March: ITF East African Training Camp – Burundi
18 – 22 July: South East European Training Camp – Turkey
2 - 8 September: ITF / COTECC Regional Training Camp – Bahamas
12 - 17 November: ITF / COTECC Regional Training Camp – Honduras
