An important element of the ITF’s Coaches Education Programme are the Regional Conferences. These events are held regionally every two years and typically deal with both high level player development and increasing participation in tennis.
This year the ITF Regional Coaches Conferences will be conducted in partnership with Olympic Solidarity and the Regional Associations (ATF, COSAT, COTECC, and CAT). The dates for the Regional Coaches Conferences are as follows-
The ITF Central American & Caribbean Conference will be held in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico from 20 - 24 September.
The ITF Southern African Regional Coaches Conference will be held in Pretoria, South Africa with dates tbc.
The ITF North African Regional Coaches Conference will be held from 6 - 9 October at a venue tbc.
The ITF Asian Regional Coaches Conference will be held in Subic Bay, the Philippines from 26 - 30 October.
The ITF South American Regional Coaches Conference will be held from 27 September - 2 October at a venue tbc.
In addition to the ITF/ Olympic Solidarity Conferences this year, Tennis Europe is hosting the Tennis Europe Coaches Symposium in Moscow, Russia from 14 - 18 October.
Coaches who are interested in attending one of these Regional Conferences should approach their National Associations who will receive detailed information in due course regarding these conferences. As conference fact sheets are ready, additional information will be uploaded on this page.
