An important element of the ITF’s Coaches Education Programme are the Regional Conferences. These events are held regionally every two years and typically deal with both high level player development and increasing participation in tennis.
Coaches who are interested should approach their National Associations who have received detailed information regarding the conferences. More information can be found at www.itftennis.com/coaching. This year the ITF Regional Coaches Conferences have been conducted in partnership with Olympic Solidarity and the Regional Associations (ATF, COSAT, COTECC, and CAT). The dates for the Regional Coaches Conferences are as follows-
• The ITF Central American & Caribbean Workshop will be held in San Salvador, El Salvador from 15-19th September.
• The ITF African Regional Coaches Workshop will be held in Pretoria, South Africa from 24-27th September.
• The ITF North African Regional Coaches Workshop will be held in Sousse, Tunisia from 8 - 13th October.
• The ITF Asian Regional Coaches Workshop will be held in Shenzhen, China from 28th October - 2nd November.
• The ITF South American Regional Coaches Workshop will be held in Foz de Iguacu, Brazil from 4 - 8th November.
• In addition to the ITF/ Olympic Solidarity Conferences this year, Tennis Europe is hosting the Tennis Europe Coaches Symposium in Roehampton (London) from October 22nd until 25 October.
