2010 - Long Beach, NY, USA

Next week sees the second American Grade 1 tournament of the year taking place and this will be followed by a Bermudan Grade 1 and both events are likely to attract entrants from top ranked players.

One half of the recently crowned men’s World Champions, Alessandro Calbucci, is a two-time winner of the American event with Michele Cappelletti with the pair having triumphed in 2010 and again last year.

Hopes are high that they’ll be returning to go for a third title along with the women’s 2012 champions, Simona Bonadonna and Eva D’Elia.

The tournament will once again take place in Long Beach, NY and will be held over 15-18 August.

Once the action in New York is over, many of the players can be expected to make the journey to the island of Bermuda where, as in New York, the aforementioned Italians were the 2012 champions. This event will take place over 23-25 August.
