For 2007, the third year of the Whereabouts programme, the ITF determined that all male and female players ranked in the top 50 (singles) as of 6 August 2007 were in the Whereabouts Pool. However all players, irrespective of their rankings, remain subject to out-of-competition testing at all times (save when competing in a Covered Event). However, players in the Whereabouts Pool have the additional responsibility of providing information about their whereabouts during periods when they are not competing. They can then be tested either at the place(s) and time(s) that they have specified or at any other time or place.
For the second year running, the ITF will be using WADA’s online Whereabouts management system ADAMS (Anti-Doping Administration and Management System), which is purpose-built to allow simple data entry and modification. Using the WADA ADAMS you are able to enter your whereabouts information directly in an easy, secure and convenient manner. This is our preferred method for you to input whereabouts information, but we will still accept faxed or emailed information.
