| IC Junior Challenge heads to New Delhi |
Three of the four International Club (IC) 16 & under Junior Challenge competitions have taken place, with the winning teams qualifying for the IC Junior Challenge World Finals in New Delhi in April 2010.
The teams are made up of two boys and two girls who face their opposite numbers in singles and then team up to play mixed doubles.
USA won the North American event in Boca Raton, Florida while Sao Paulo hosted the South American competition, which was awarded to the Brazilian team. Germany emerged victorious in the European event with a win over Great Britain in the final in Barcelona. The Asian event will take place in October at New Delhi’s Gymkhana Club.
