Wimbledon Day 12 - Serena wins a third
Serena Williams stole the Wimbledon crown from her sister Venus on Centre Court at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, beating her sibling 76(3) 62. Serena captured her third Wimbledon women's singles title at the expense of five-time champion Venus. The sisters then teamed up to take the women's doubles title for the fifth time and second successive year, over Aussies Sam Stosur and Rennae Stubbs 76(4) 64.

Canada's Daniel Nestor and Serbian Nenad Zimonjic successfully defended their men's doubles title. The No. 2 seeds overcame top seeded Bob and Mike Bryan in tight 76(7) 67(3) 76(3) 63 encounter.
