Wimbledon Day 10 - All-Williams final
The two dominant forces in women's tennis, Serena and Venus Williams, will clash in the women's Wimbledon final on Saturday for the second year in a row, after the sisters' very contrasting victories in their semifinal matches on Thursday.

Serena was first up on Centre Court against No. 4 seed and Olympic champion Elena Dementieva from Russia, and found herself a set down after losing the opening tiebreak 7-4. But over the course of two hours 49 minutes, the American battled back to take the next two sets and the match 67 75 86, saving a match point against her on the way. The epic match attracted full crowds on Centre Court and became the longest women's semifinal at Wimbledon in the Open Era.

Shortly after, world No. 1 Dinara Safina was left dazed by a crushing 61 60 defeat by Venus Williams, lasting just 51 minutes. It was the Russian's first appearance in the second week of Wimbledon, but she didn't have a look-in as Venus, twice defending champion at The All England Club, stormed into her eighth Wimbledon final.

The sisters meet in a Grand Slam final for the eighth time, including last year's Wimbledon, and overall this will be their 16th career meeting in a tournament final. Serena leads their rivalry with nine wins to Venus' six, but Wimbledon is older sister Venus's turf, having won the title there five times already. Serena lifted the trophy in 2002-03 and will be bidding for a staggering 11th Grand Slam title when play gets underway at 13:00 GMT on Saturday.

In men's doubles semifinal action, Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic came from two-sets down to defeat James Blake and Mardy Fish 57 36 62 76 [10-8], and will meet American twins Bob and Mike Bryan in the final, who beat Wesley Moodie and Dick Norman by a much easier scoreline, 76 76 64.
