Wimbledon Day 6 - Jankovic crashes out
Former world No. 1 Jelena Jankovic was sent crashing out of Wimbledon's third round by 17-year-old American Malanie Oudin.

The Serb, who has been struggling for form in recent months, was also thwarted by heat exhaustion through the match. However, nothing should be taken away form Oudin, who played superbly in claiming the biggest scalp of her career, 67 (8) 75 62. Also out is no. 5 seed and French Open champion Svetlana Kuznetsova, who was blown off court in straight sets by the unseeded 19-year-old Sabine Lisicki 62 75.

No such problems for Venus Williams, who swept into the last 16 with a 60 64 victory over Spain’s Carla Suarez Navarro and Ana Ivanovic proved too strong for Samantha Stosur 75 62. Other women also through are Dinara Safina, Caroline Wozniacki and Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska.

Britain’s Andy Murray continued his impressive form, comfortably defeating Serbia’s Viktor Troicki 62 63 64 in less than two hours. The world No. 3 broke his opponent in the sixth game of the first set, when Troicki sent down two double faults and from that point the Scot never looked back. In the last 16, he will play Stanislas Wawrinka, who triumphed over American Jesse Levine 57 75 63 63.

Andy Roddick continues to move through the draw, claiming his place in the round after a severe test by No. 26 seed Jurgen Melzer. The American overcame two tie-breaks and a dropped set to eventually see off the Austrian 76 (2) 76 (7) 46 63 in just under three hours.

No. 20 seed Tomas Berdych was too good for Nikolay Davydenko and 2002 champion Lleyton Hewitt also enjoyed a straight sets victoty over Philipp Petzschner .

The rest of the draw saw triumphs for Juan Carlos Ferrero, Radek Stepanek, Gilles Simon and Tommy Haas.
