Davydenko and Djokovic claim final spots
Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic advanced to his first ever Masters Cup final on Saturday after recording a hard-fought 46 63 75 victory over Frenchman Gilles Simon.

"It's a huge success for me to reach the final," said the Serb, who lost all of his matches without winning a set on his Masters Cup debut last year. "It would be great if I can end up with the title. I didn't have such a great last couple of months of the season."

In the other semifinal, Andy Murray could not repeat his heroics of Friday against Roger Federer, as Nikolay Davydenko proved too good this time around with a comfortable 75 62 win. The world No. 5 was ruthless against a visibly tired Murray, and now looks forward to the final, attempting to become the first ever Russian to win the Masters Cup.

"Djokovic may have more confidence in the final. But he didn't play well today. He was not consistent, not in every game and on every point," said Davydenko. "If he plays the same maybe I have a chance. I lost 7-5 in the third set against him earlier, but it is a different situation, this is a final."

In the mens doubles final, Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic will take on Bob and Mike Bryan.
