Spain v Austria

Spain are without the services of Rafael Nadal, but such is the strength in depth at captain Alex Corretja's disposal that he still has two Top 20 players to call upon in the form of world No. 5 David Ferrer and world No. 12 Nicolas Almagro.

Austria go into their first World Group quarterfinal in 17 years with a full-strength team, led by world No. 22 Jurgen Melzer. The Austrians are bidding to become the first team to claim an away win against Spain since Brazil achieved the feat in 1999.

France v USA

Both teams have been forced to reshuffle their pack for this blockbuster tie at the picturesque setting of the Monte Carlo Country Club. Gael Monfils and Mardy Fish both miss out through injury, with Gilles Simon and Ryan Harrison stepping in.

That leaves Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Simon leading the way for France, while John Isner and teenager Harrison will be on the singles court for USA with the Bryan brothers providing the doubles expertise.

Croatia face a tough challenge against Argentina at the formidable Parque Roca venue in Buenos Aires, but the visitors do possess a fighting chance as they enter the tie with their top two available players on the teamsheet, Marin Cilic and Ivo Karlovic.
