French teenager Ugo Humbert is our featured player for February. Over the course of the month the 19-year-old competed twice in Switzerland before finishing in Canada.

From these three tournaments, all played indoors, Humbert picked up two singles titles which came either side of a week away from competitive action.

Having made a second round exit in Oberentfelden to the eventual champion Tobias Simon, Humbert continued his stay in Switzerland and in Bellevue he came from behind in the final against Niels Desein to earn his first singles title since a triumph in France in September 2017.

He then had a week away from tournament play as he travelled to Canada where a second title was won in Gatineau without loss of a set. This win took his career singles title count to three and the ATP rankings release on 5 March showed Humbert had climbed to a new career high ranking of 328.
