26-year-old, Maximilian Neuchrist, is our featured male player for this month.

The Austrian saw all his on court action unfold in Kuwait where he played in, and won the title, at three tournaments held in consecutive weeks.

This trio of title wins were his first since winning a title back in July in Macedonia and his total of four singles titles represents his best return in any given calendar year.

Winning titles in three consecutive weeks was also a career first.

The first of these titles came courtesy of a close 76(4) 63 defeat of the Italian player Alessandro Bega having won through to the final with a tense three set semifinal win over his doubles partner David Pichler, with whom he reached the semifinals.

A second singles title came in another straight sets win, this time over Kristian Lozan with Neuchrist seeing off his Russian opponent 76(5) 61.

The third and final singles title of the month was secured with a 75 64 win against Frenchman Baptiste Crepatte as Neuchrist mounts a strong finish to his 2017 campaign.
